Air Duct Cleaning

At LES SERVICES ACCENT, we care about the health of our clients. That’s why we are here to keep the filtration system in your home free from dust and allergens. We understand, however, that it’s not always easy to detect indoor air pollution, so here are a few questions to think about:

  • Does your air circulation system have a standard fiberglass filter?
  • Do you have any pets?
  • Are there smokers living with you?
  • Does anyone in the house have asthma, allergies, or similar respiratory problems?
  • Do you find yourself constantly having to remove dust from your furniture?
  • Whenever you’re inside your home, do you experience nausea, a burning sensation in the nose, throat, or eyes, or headaches?
  • Are there dust trails or discoloration coming out of your air duct grills or covers?
  • Did you see dust and dirt inside the filter housing the last time you changed your furnace filter?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, it may be time for you to have your air ducts cleaned. Turning on the air conditioning system in your home means allowing dust, dirt, and animal hair to circulate, and the situation is worsened by moisture. The ducts will eventually become breeding grounds for mold, germs, and fungi.

Aside from that, contaminated air ducts contribute to the spreading of illnesses such as salmonella and Legionnaires' disease. All of these can be prevented when you hire our air duct team today.

The Process

First, we will connect our 3-stage high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter vacuum system to the air duct closest to the furnace. We will then utilize the appropriate tools to eliminate dirt and debris in the air ducts. Afterwards, the vacuum will pull the contaminants out of the ducts and through the filtration system. This results in clean air inside your home.

The last stage of the process involves sanitizing and disinfecting your system with a biodegradable solution. Once the whole system is cleaned, all the access openings are resealed and the areas we worked on are inspected. We make sure that the air duct system’s function is restored to its original state.

Dryer Vent Cleaning

Dryer vents increase the efficiency of dryers, but cleaning them is not often a priority for homeowners. Doing so is crucial, however, because according to the National Fire Protection Association, 30% of house fires that started in laundry rooms were due to clogged dryer vents. If they aren’t cleaned regularly, dryers can overheat and spark fires.

If your laundry room heats up or if there’s a burning or musty smell in the area, you may have a clogged vent. Leaving dirt to accumulate in dry vents can cause exhaust to enter your home and turn them into fire hazards. Turn to LES SERVICES ACCENT today to address these issues right away.

Benefits of Our Services

Enhanced Air Quality

Indoor air contamination has a lot to do with dust accumulation. Air ducts tend to pick up debris, which leads to dirty air in your interior spaces. Getting rid of dust in ducts and vents will improve the air quality in your home, eliminate fire threats and pest problems, and ensure that your property is safe and healthy at all times.

As a seasoned air duct cleaning service provider, we can educate you regarding indoor air pollution. We want you to be aware of the potential threats to your and your family’s respiratory health that can be found right inside your home. Contaminants can cause allergies, eye irritation, skin rashes, and even asthma attacks, but with regular air duct inspection and cleaning, these problems are greatly reduced.

Less Moisture

In poorly ventilated homes, excess moisture aggravated by dirty air ducts and causing indoor air contamination is not uncommon. Mold can thrive in such environments, especially in places where the humidity is high. Moisture has many sources, including:

  • Insufficient bathroom and/or kitchen ventilation
  • Air conditioners that are not cleaned or maintained annually
  • Contaminated humidifiers and filters

Call our air duct and dryer vent cleaners to stop moisture from accumulating in your property. If you’re unsure whether you need our services, we can inspect your system with a camera beforehand.
